LEGO Set Review - 854031 - Statue of Liberty Magnet
Pengarang baru saja membeli dua buah set 854031 - Statue of Liberty Magnet dari LEGO Certified Store (LCS) Indonesia. Dari dulu pengarang sudah menginginkan set ini dikarenakan pengarang tidak memiliki minifigure Lady Liberty dari Minifigure seri 6 (8827) dan sepertinya minifigure pada magnet ini sama dengan yang di seri 6.
The author just bought two sets of 854031 - Statue of Liberty Magnet from LEGO Certified Store (LCS) Indonesia. The author has wanted this because the author did not have Lady Liberty minifigure from the Minifigure Series 6 (8827) and it seems the minifigure from this magnet looks similar with the series 6.
Keterangan pada set menyatakan bahwa magnet ini terdiri dari 11 bagian komponen. Setelah dibongkar, kita dapat melihat dengan seksama 11 bagian komponen tersebut. Sebanyak tujuh komponen yang membentuk minifigure, satu komponen magnet yang memiliki stud berukuran 4 x 4, dua komponen biasa dan satu tile spesial dengan tulisan “NEW YORK” tercetak di bagian atasnya. Tile spesial ini dapat dimanfaatkan apabila anda suka merakit bangunan LEGO® custom seperti MOC (My Own Creation). Minifigure Lady Liberty ini juga dapat anda gunakan untuk beragam keperluan tergantung dengan MOC anda.
The information on this set stated that this magnet consists of 11 parts. After disassembly, we can see clearly the 11 parts. Seven parts are used for the minifigure, one part for the magnet section with a 4 x 4 studs, two normal parts and one special tile with “NEW YORK” text printed on top of it. This special tile can be utilised by those of you who like to construct custom LEGO® such as MOC building. You can also use the Lady Liberty minifigure for any purposes you see fit in your MOC.
Satu hal penting yang harus saya jelaskan adalah komponen magnet ini bukanlah sebuah brick. Komponen ini hanya memiliki stud pada bagian atas tapi tidak memiliki lubang pada bagian bawah untuk menyambungkan komponen ini dengan stud lain seperti yang dapat dilihat pada foto di bawah ini. Komponen ini memiliki bagian bawah yang rata karena menyimpan magnet di bagian dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, anda tidak dapat menggunakan magnet ini sebagai brick.
One important thing that need to be mentioned is that the magnet part is not a brick itself. It only has studs on the top but it does not have tubes at the bottom to connect this part to studs as shown on the photo below. It has solid bottom because it needs to house the magnet securely. Therefore, you can not re-purpose the magnet part as a brick.
