Setelah sebelumnya berbagai gosip simpang siur di media sosial penggemar LEGO® bahwa akan diluncurkan set Diagon Alley terbaru dari LEGO®. Perusahaan LEGO juga mengeluarkan cara merakit sebuah QR code yang dapat dibuat dari komponen LEGO® yang akan mengarahkan para pembaca ke satu website di mana pembaca bisa melakukan virtual tur ke set LEGO® ini.
The latest LEGO® 75978 Diagon Alley set finally has been announced by the LEGO Group. Before this, there were rumours circulating in the LEGO® community social media that a new Diagon Alley set will be released by LEGO®. The LEGO Group published a manual instruction on how to build QR code using LEGO® parts that will direct the reader to a website where the reader can do a virtual tour to this LEGO® set.
Set yang megah ini terdiri dari 5.544 keping LEGO®, 14 buah minifigure dan ukuran dari model ini adalah sebagai berikut: Tinggi 29 cm, Lebar: 102,4 cm dan Tinggi: 13 cm. Set ini dijual seharga 400 U$ dollar di website LEGO Store Amerika Serikat. Di LCS Indonesia, set ini sudah bisa dipesan seharga 8.999.000 rupiah.

From the photos shown, this set is unlike the Creator Expert set which means the back part of the buildings are not closed.
